Welcome from the Chair of Governors. Governing Body Register of Interests. On Wednesday, we took part in the Kings Heath Sports. Bells Farm are proud to be raising money for Sport. Our fortnightly Star Assembly took place this morning rewarding hardwork.

Good attendance is rewarding! Proud hard work all round! .

The children use the Play Stay and Chat session to make rock pools with their parents. They really enjoyed having their parents stay and play with them and getting to show them what they like to do at nursery. Thank you to everyone who attended. It was lovely to meet you all properly.

This week the Foundation Stage children also took part in their very own sports day. All the children were very well behaved and they put lots of effort into each event they took part in. There was a real buzz in the air and the children really enjoyed both the competitive and the non-competitive games. The Foundation Stage staff would like to say a big thank you to all the parents who supported this wonderful event. More photos are on our main school website, click here.

Bells Farm Wrap Around Care Blog. As part of this weeks topic in ASC some of the children have designed their own chocolate wrappers. Hope that you had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the thunder and lightning.

This week we have been consolidating our learning surrounding measures. We recapped the key vocabulary for capacity, length and weight and completed a variety of activities. We have moved on from non-standard units to using standard units including cm, m, g, kj, l and ml.

Today on the 16th July 2015 we had a class leavers party. We had a wonderful time playing lots of different party games. First we played a game where you dance and when the music stops you have to put a quoit on your head! Isaiah won this game. Next we played musical statues and Lexie, Katie, Nathanuel and Romarni won. After that we played a brand new game which Miss Williams invented! One comment so far. Your browser does not support iframes.

This week we looked at the effect of adding glycerine to the mixture. We found that the sticky substance made the bubbles last longer. We then watched some videos and found out why bubbles are spheres. We mixed PVA glue with the paint to give our pots a shiny finish.

Year 5 have been reading The Last Wild by Piers Torday. Well done Kestrels, we can really work on these skills next year using the wonderful books you will read as Eagles.
